Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of WhisperingByte, operated by JAGRIT SACHDEVA, H No 12, Gali No 4, Lake Head School, Sunny Enclave, Amritsar, Punjab, 143105, India ("we", "us").

1. The service

WhisperingByte provides AI audio generation tools including text to speech, voice changing, sound effects, music generation and audiobook production. Access is provided on a subscription or credit basis.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate registration details and are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a legal guardian.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to impersonate a real person without their documented consent, to create unlawful, defamatory, hateful or deceptive content, to infringe intellectual property, or to attempt to bypass usage quotas, rate limits or security controls.

4. Credits and quotas

Generations consume character credits from your plan allowance. Credits reserved for a generation that fails are returned automatically. Unused monthly allowances do not roll over unless stated in your plan.

5. Content ownership

You retain ownership of the text you submit and of the audio you generate, subject to the licence terms of the underlying voice used. We retain no right to sell your generated audio.

6. Availability

The service depends on third party AI providers. We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. You may cancel at any time from the Billing page.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Punjab, India.
